First Aid Training Courses

First aiders are an integral part of workplace safety. The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. This includes appointing a suitable amount of first aiders and providing appropriate first aid training.

This course we offer enables you to gain a combined Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work and Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid. This course is an extended day of classroom learning, this specially designed course provides the skills and knowledge needed to provide both emergency adult and paediatric first aid. This minimises the number of training days required to achieve both qualifications. CR Training Solutions & Consultancy is proud offer a streamlined solution to avoid the duplication of topics associated with attending both the Emergency First Aid at Work and Emergency Paediatric First Aid courses separately, the Combined Emergency First Aid at Work and Emergency Paediatric First Aid course has been specifically designed for those who work in settings that require both First Aiders and Paediatric First Aiders, such as schools, sports clubs or other childcare settings.

Course Overview

Over 1 extended day, learners will develop the knowledge and practical competencies needed to provide effective first aid for adults, children and infants. Topics include: CPR and AED use, choking, wounds and bleeding, unconscious casualty and more. Please note that learners will be required to repeat the full 1 day course in order to requalify.

Assessment Methods

1 x Multiple Choice Question Paper (Theory assessment) and 6 x Practical Assessments
