Course Overview
During this 1 day course, Learners will develop their knowledge and skills in fire safety, including: how fires are caused, the risks associated with fire, principles of fire safety management at work, understanding the role of a fire warden and more. The below contents will be covered throughout the course:
- Understanding the types of mechanical restraints
- Understanding the law and good practice in relation to the use of mechanical restraints
- Understanding the importance of safe working practice guidelines in relation to the use of mechanical restraints
- Understanding post-incident considerations and the importance of reporting
- Be able to safely apply and remove mechanical restraints to a compliant subject
- Be able to safely apply and remove mechanical restraints to a non-compliant subject
