Level 2 Award for Security Officer in the Private Security Industry (RQF)
The SIA Security Guard course is for those looking to obtain their Security Guard in the Private Security Industry license. This will allow you to work a security guard in a variety of sectors and venues including retail, events, industrial, offices and more.
This course runs over 4 days and will arm you with the knowledge, procedures and skillset to be able to achieve your license and prepare you for a career as a security officer within the UK.
Course Overview
This qualification will provide the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary for those working, or interested in working, as a Security Officer within the Private Security Industry and require an SIA Licence to Practice. The qualification will support a role in the workplace.
Prior to the course commencing you must have achieved a minimum of a one day Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate and have the ability to complete a basic Level 1 English Exam. Don’t worry if you do not have a First Aid certificate as the day before the course we run a First Aid course. Please not that an online First aid Certificate will not be accepted.
