The SIA Security Guard course is for those looking to obtain their Security Guard in the Private Security Industry license. This will allow you to work a security guard in a variety of sectors and venues including retail, events, industrial, offices and more. This course runs over 4 days and will arm you with the knowledge, procedures and skillset to be able to achieve your license and prepare you for a career as a security officer within the UK.

Course Overview

This qualification will provide the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary for those working, or interested in working, as a Security Officer within the Private Security Industry and require an SIA Licence to Practice. The qualification will support a role in the workplace.

Prior to the course commencing you must have achieved a minimum of a one day Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate and have the ability to complete a basic Level 1 English Exam. Don’t worry if you do not have a First Aid certificate as the day before the course we run a First Aid course. Please not that an online First aid Certificate will not be accepted.
